I saw an Ad in a parts magazine for Flex-a-lite fuel coolers. They advertise that cooler, denser, fuel = more power. The unit is only $40, has anyone tried it? Think it'd help at all?

Thanks

Well, why we're on the subject of the fuel system, how about those UPR products billet fuel filters ? They have a changeable core and they are suppost to out flow the standard fuel filter. Wonder how good they are. I'de like to try one and throw a magnet on it and see the results.:D

I dont think it would work to add power because the computer already knows how much gas to dump.....it sounds like a way to get a little more power out of your fuel lines before you upgrade......

that could theoretically work, however i usually see the fuel coolers on carb'd cars. i dont recall seeing one on a fuel injected car. theoretically it is a good idea. i dont know if those coolers are designed to handle the higher line pressure seen on a fuel injected car versus a carb'd car. you could call the maker and ask them if it has been tested on a similar setup.
