So, my Stang was in the dealership a little while ago and they told me they wanted to do a fuel injector service next time they saw the car. It has around 73K on the clock, and I'm not sure if that's worth it. I'm just not very savvy when it comes to the fuel system on the car, so I don't know what to believe. I'll touch anything else pretty much, but don't know much about that system. Can I do it myself instead? What is included? Any help would be great! :nice:

When i worked at a dealership i asked what they (the techs) though about that service and all but one(the guy that made the money off of it) said its a waste of money and not to do it. If i were you i would just get some injector cleaner or seafoam from the parts store and run it through the fuel. Just my .02

I put a can of B12 Chemtool in with about 1/2 tank of gas. Then drive the car until the low fuel light comes on. Fill the tank back up. Then within a week or so put a new Motorcraft fuel filter in. I do this about 3 to 4 times a year.
