I cant get more than 40psi.

The fuel regulator is new(Kirban adjustable).

I tried 2 different gauges.

I can go under 40,but when i get to 40 , im turning the bolt of the regulator but the pressure stay at 40.

Can it be my fuel pump?

Its a holley 190 lph.And all was working great for 2 years.

I would say it could be the fuel pump, or a kinked fuel line, or a fuel leak somewhere.

How old is your fuel filter? Might want to change that just as an easy fix so you may not have to drop your tank and change the pump. The holley pump is a walbro, they are know to be pretty reliable... but not impossible to be the pump either. Trace your lines back and change the filter first.

Sounds like the regulator might be messed up and is bleeding off the pressure over 40psi. How high are you trying to get it 40 should be ok.

I dont think it could be the filter bc if the filter is dirty it is more likely to cause the fuel pressure to drop while it is running. I would look at the pump being weak or make sure the gauge you are using works.

have you tried carefully crimping the return line? no fuel in the vac line to the new FPR, right?

quick bleeding off can be from a bad FPR or check valve in the pump. good luck.

thre is no fuel in the vac line... i have tried 2 diffrent gauges:a little autometer scewed on the fuel line and a snap on gauge...

When yo say crimping the return line you mean kink it? to see if pressure build? and i f it does, what?

OK...

I did change the fuel filter.Same problem.

I tried crimping the return line, and the fuel pressure did not move of 1 psi.I did this for 30-45sec and nothing was moving, car idling.

the pressure is ajustable until 38-40psi.When i remove the vacc under 38psi the pressure drop as it should be.But when at 38-40 ,it dont move.

When hiting 38psi and still turning the screw the pressure stop going up.

If it was a bad injector....Do the car would run like ***** ? cause it runing really good.. but lean. thks

good call Id.
when the return line is crimped, the fuel should have bottlenecked and the pressure should have gone up.

Go to 24# injectors, that will get you the fuel you need.
