I took my car to the track today for the first time, 1/4 mile test and tune. As far as I know its a stock 302. I got a msd 6al and msd distributor (pn 8582). Holley 670 Street Avenger (65 jets) and supposedly 373 gears (questionable lol). Problem is around 4k in third gear the car falls flat on its face, shift to fourth and its fine. I know its a fuel issue because before I went to the track I changed the plugs and they were suggesting that I was running lean. Im thinking I need either bigger jets or bigger fuel pump, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
