Quick question on fuel pumps. I was searching ebay for a 255lph pump and found some Walbro 255, but in fine print in said not for nitrous, supercharged or turbocharged motors. Has anyone else seen this before? Can anyone tell me why? and what pump I should buy if I plan to eventually supercharge my car?

Thanks,

Probably because the fuel pump you were looking at wasn't a high pressure fuel pump.

In either case you can make any fuel pump work with any set-up... low-pressure in-tank/ high pressure boosta-pump.. and etc.

Gotta find the 255lph that runs HIGH psi, then get and adjustable fuel pressure regulator and spray away!

Get the Holley 255lph. There are two versions, one with higher pressure output for forced induction.

Here's a link:

Note: maximum pressure is 110psi instead of 90psi.

FWIW, the Holley is probably still a Walbro.

As said, the non HP versions don't keep up enough volume/pressure at higher RPM. Walbro has charts on their website so you can see what we're talkin about.

Good luck.
