there was not a Black/white wire either. Thank you for the above schematic. I was going to stop by store today for wire and rewire the missing black/white and white/red and properly place all wires into EEC/VIP connector

I did try to dump using that wire and there was no reaction from CEL.

I had the same issue when I first bought my current car. Seriously, get a new harness. In the long run its well worth the money.

It seems like when they removed the smog and thermactor stuff they removed all the wires too so it would look good. I had almost the entire loom open under the hood and those 2 wires are not there.

Then you get to pull the computer wiring harness connector off the computer and chase to problem from there...
