Ok im getting a few issues.
installed new HU in my 2000 mustang, used scosche adpater didnt bypass (factory) amp , everythign worked great ( also installed amp/subs)
now here the dealio on the way home last night dash lights went out ( speedo,tach etc) and therm control lights.
i figured cool just blew a fuse so i put in a new fuse once i get home and pop it blows as soon as i turn on the lights. so im like wtf. i dissconnect the hu replace the fuse again and pop. so now i am confused. i turn on my dome light replace the fuse and walla all my lights come on. reconnect the HU and now the front speakers dont work. so i take the speakers that i have to replace my doors speakers and hook them up off the hu directly and theyw ork fine.
so today im going to get the part to bypass the stock amp this shoudl solve my front speaker sympton but i still havent solved my dash lights dilema.
do you think i blew my dimmer switch ( which i did not hook up to the hu btw but it is possible the line got shorted to ground)
if i did blow my dimer switch is it just the headlamp switch or is it a seperate piece?
