g-Force T/A® KDW Tires

Do anyone on here have any experience with them? I want to get them for my mustang I have the ROH ZS Racing wheels. My car is not a daily driver or will be driven in the rain. I do not want drag radials for my street tires, I don't want to take any chances of getting caught in the rain for worry about driving through a puddle. But I do plan on getting drag radials for my drag wheels.

For the price I would recommend the BFG G sports. I have them on my summer wheels and I love them. Best tire i have ever put on my car.

They are amazing tires. They were factory stock on my 05 SRT4, and they gripped like HELL. They were super soft though, I had a rock stab all the way through the tread block and into the tire once on one of them.

They gripped for days, I only wore out the fronts on that car in 20k miles, the rears still had probably 75+% tread left and I drove the piss out of it.

I'll be getting a set in 255/40/18 when I put my BBS RK wheels on.

I had KDWs on my last car, which was a FWD "new" Cougar. Hands down they were the best tires I ever had on it. Granted the V6 FWD Cougar is a completly different car than a 5.0, but they were great tires. I had Kuhmo Ecstas, Firehawks, and a few other different brands, but the KDWs lasted longest, even with the soft tread, and they gripped like it was nobodies business.

I had the G-Force Sports on my pony rims on my 5.0 and wasn't too thrilled with them. They seemed to wear quickly, even on the front, and they didn't grip for ****.

It's hard for me to give an accurate opinion because I am talking about totally different cars, but I rotated them, I actually do an alignment every 6 months or so, and I balance my tires every rotation....basically I take care of my tires. I was very impressed with the KDWs.

KDW stands for key dry and wet traction. Check on the KD and see if you like that tread. They are good tires.
I am running the BFG Sports as well, and I also am not to thrilled with them. They do seem to wear a bit fast, but hell what do you expect from a performance tire anyway, ave mileage is usually and I say usually some get more some get less, but average is 30-40k's.
I have noticed the Sports like to howl on a smooth fresh black top. They do about the same on my wife's LHS. She has 17" Traction T/A's.

I have the g-Force T/A KDW on my stang now and they're AWESOME!!! They sh1t all over the Firestone Firehawk SZ50EP that were on my car.

These have great wet traction and awesome when it's dry...a little soft, but definitely the best tire I've had so far. I think they're 245/45 R16...

why are people afraid of drag radials....Id be more afraid of blowing the tires off at 80 mph than driving drag radials in the rain, just my opinion. Your not going to spin out of control for no reason in the rain. Ive driven nittos through the snow, drove MT ET radials past the wear line through that noreaster storm we just had up here (to and from work). Nittos are a very good every day drag radial, they last a real long time and get great traction on the street, 100x better than any "performance" tire.

Nitto drags are excellent in the rain if they have tread. Bald ones are the most dangerous thing in the world.

However, as mentioned, the KDW's are excellent too. I have them on my notch, they hook and handle great, and they are almost bald. They still corner excellent too. The ratings are excellent and it is an inexpensive tire.

I like the bfg's I have some on the 5lug pony wheels and they will hook pretty decent with a short burn on the street, Id get dr's if possible especially if it dosent touch water.

Nice pics thank you, your fox looks great! But on BF's site they have a different tire tread, so I did a little research and the I am looking at getting the BF G-Force T/A KDW 2s.

You are entitled to your own opinion, but I have already stated I do not want to have DR's on my street wheels.
