Hi guys, I have seem to have excessive gas/exhaust fumes when im driving around town and at idle. Is this normal for having no smog pump and no cats? I seem to be running on the rich side as well. Any input is always appreciated. If its normal I will suck it up, but its been bugging me lately.

since i have my o*\r h-pipe i have some black smoke sometiems coming out and the fume smells like crap, lots of ppl following me told me that

It's common to have fumes like that with no cats. Mine was horrible when I first did my o/r h-pipe, but I got used to it. I don't even smell it hardly now even after my heads and cam, but I know it's a lot worse. I guess you could always pull a plug to see if you are actually running rich or not.

Fumes from no cats is normal. Just get used to it.

Why do you think you are running rich? Did you hook up a wideband O2 or did a shop hook up a probe?
