Hey all. Got a 96 cobra and the plugs keep craping out every 1000 miles. I am running 91 octane gas in it. All we have around hear unless you drive 40 miles to get 93. POINTLESS. Any ways, what do you recomend doing. On each fill up get some octane boost and put in there or what???????

What makes you think the 91 octane is causing the problem? Fouling of plugs is not normally ocatane related. Maybe your car is running way too rich. What mods does the car currently have?

+1 with the Meat man. It says on your dash right between your speedo and tach to run premium. Something is wrong with your tune, or you need a tune.

Are you burning oil? Rings, Guides?

Its a Bad tune, Oil fouled, Wrong Plugs or gapped wrong. Could be a combo of any of the above.

Tune

The car was tuned by steeda in florida before it was sold. It is now in KS. I will take it in and get it tuned for here.

Also like Duke mentioned, are your plugs the right ones and gapped correctly.
