gas pedle hits floor before wot

trying to tune with my pms and having trouble because i have to put the gas peddle threw the floor boards to get wot. ive checked two tps sensors and they both show the same. then opned the intake up and pushed the gas peddle down all the way and saw the valve doesnt open all the way. damn it! its screwing with my tuning and i have a broken right ankle so im having enough trouble driving. i saw a very long time ago a site that shows a way to mod the gas peddle so that it sits farther off the floor but i cant find that site for the life of me. does anyone know that site or a way to fix this problem? ive tried bending the gas peddle but im affraid to break it and i dont want to cut my carpet and sound deadening crap unless i really have to

Is it normal for me to be able to put my foot under the gas pedal and lift it up a few inches?

Not sure if the TB is fully opening but engine sounds WOT.

I can lift my pedal from underneath a little too... don't think it's a problem.

ya, i can pull the peddle up multiple inches. the web site im trying to find showed how adjust the gas peddle so that when in resting possition, it would be up a few inches so that its near parallel to the brake peddle. allowing you to open the tb all the way.
there is no slack in the cable, its just that where the gas peddle hooks to the line, its too far away allowing the peddle to sit so close to the floor

I'm not sure if this is what you were thinking of. Note that it's for late model stangs.

yep thats it. wasnt as easy as they made it sound cause i have a 92 and not a 99 like on that link but after a half hour and a lot of curse words, i was able to do it and now the gas peddle sits almost flush with the brake peddle so im happy. my throttle body opens all the way now and im getting almost .5v more from my tps because of the tb opening further.
