looking at this gear kit from 50 resto for xmas, while im at it what else do i need?

You might want to pick up another bottle of gear lube. If I remember right the rear normally takes 2.5 bottles.
Otherwise everything else is there.
Thats a great deal too. I wish I had seen that when I was getting gears.
I paid $170 just for the gear install kit and the FR gears are $200 by themselves.

rebuild your trac-lok while your in there. its not much more work if your're already doing gears. i think its just under $60 from the same place. oh and a new gear for your speedo
