Gear Oil - Amsoil 75w110

Safe to use? I got a wide range of comments from people putting 75w90, 75w140...I like doing research before i commit to a product and I know Amsoil is one of the best.

Doesn't it even really matter by the "w" of the oil...90,110,140 all good right?

I use Royal Purple 75W-90 myself. works just fine.

i dont mean to hijack the thread or anything, but i have the same question about which weight is the best to use. in my case though, I'm running a Torsen T-2 Diff.

to the op, that will be fine.

to derekstang, according to torsen, you are to use any gl4/gl5 oil, according to manufacturer's specifications.

I have always wondered this too and have yet to get a definitive answer. Some say RP sux and others say it is great...

I just replaced my diff fluid with RP 75w-140(thats what the diff cover tag says to use). The crappy thing is i just found out that i have some bearings going out in my rear, but i know its not from the RP. I would run what Ford recommends.
