I have 1972 351C 2bb stock just dropped in a 1985 WC V8 T5 my current axle ratio 2.75 I would like a change, sounds like a 3.73 is a good call but can I change to a 4.11?

It is a weekend car, highway driving is not a concern I am worried that the 4.11 in 1st and 2nd gear- too much? I have 2.75 right now I would like to make it worth my while to change to say 3.73-4.11

I'd go with the 3.55.....I say this only if you have a traction problem, because when you dump the clutch an anything higher it will just mean more spinning and more stress on your tranny. With 4.11's first gear would be nearly useless. 3.55 you will have good street manners, mileage, and cruisability. But if you are bent on 3.73 or 4.11, I would go 3.73....thats just my opinion, hope it helps.
