There should be a tag on the differential cover that will tell you the ratio. If it’s a 6cyl car,it would be a 7.5. V8 car would be an 8.8
Yea the tag said 7.5 but how do i kno about the gear ratio . Being that it could be a 2.73 or 3.73 im just confused. And did u see the pic of the end of my axle once i took differentialcover off??

The same tag should have the gear ratio stamped on it-

since you have the axle out,I’m guessing the pan is off-you can count the ring gear and the pinion gear to see what ratio you have (it may even be stamped on the ring gear.)

The end of that axle looks like it’s been riding against the center pin,was there any damage to the pin or spider gears?

If your diff tag is missing you can make a mark on ur driveshaft and a mark on your tire. Rotate a tire one full turn and compare the turns of the drive shaft and you will be able to ascertain the ratio.
