Im wondering what problems I might be having if I dont get my Speedo/shifts corrected once I change my gears? I know that it will be racking up extra mileage, but, being that i have an auto, would my car be pegging the limiter everytime I floor it? Would it be ok if I dont get it reprogrammed for a while? I already know that I need a chip or a programmer but I wont be able to buy it when I install the gears. So any help?

I know a guy that has his gears in for alost a year now without reprograming his speedo. He knows exactly how fast he is going at all times....lol

It shouldn't hurt anything, but I would be hesistant to add miles and I don't see why it would mess witht he rev limiter casue that has nothing to do with your speedo.

I was just sayin cause my car is an automatic and needs to get the shifts corrected also when changing gears unlike manuals which you only need a speed cal
