im building up my 2010 gt so far im just gathering parts to do everything at once and then get it dyno tuned by a local mustang shop but as of now i have a roush m90 blower pypes lt headers off road x pipe and will soon be ordering ford racing hot rod cams and throttle body and a sct MAF sensor. Im installing that myself but was thinking when i take it to go get tuned maybe i should get them to install the frpp 3.73 gears right now its stock 3.31 but someone told me since i was putting the blower on not to do gears because Ill just burn my tires up. thoughts?

I would leave the stock gears in there especially with all that power your gonna be burning up tires and shifting constantly. The 3:31 give you nice acceleration with still a decent top end.

Yeah, deffinatly keep the stock gears, I love mine with little to no
power mods. Leaves you a ton of headroom for the highway.

The PO of my '07 GT took out the 3.31 gears for a set of 3.73s when he installed all the other FRPP items to make this car equivalent to a Shelby GT (not GT500). I acquired the 3.31 gears from the PO with the idea of reinstalling them. However, being that I'm getting a solid 19 MPG around town, I may leave the 3.73 gears in place ... especially since more than 90% of my cage driving is around town (usually take the bike for long trips).
