Ok gettin a wet kit from my friend for $300 dollars. Its coming off his 00 ws6 to my 99 4v motor. I have a 5 speed. I need to get a bottle warmer and window switch.

Is there anything extra i should get that you guys recommen? I usually don't buy used stuff so I really don't know. I'm going to be spraying a 50-75 shot in my power band. So its going to turn on 4000rpm to 6800rpm. What do you guys spray your cars at? O the motor will have about 3,000 miles on it. When i start to spray it. I think that is good mileage to start spraying.

Dave, try the power adder forums.

I can understand the thread for the radiator but this is too specific for a 5.0 guy.

Get ready for some serious fun!
I never sprayed under 3K and I used a WOT switch so all I had to do it let off a tad to shut if down and not lose many rpms. Get a good tune and put a 2 step colder plug, I used Autolite 23's @ about 10 degrees timing.

I have pretty much all the safety stuff on my kit. I got my msd window switch from 3000-5800rpm, the system engages at WOT and I have a fuel pressure safety switch that wont allow you to spray if the your fuel pressure is lower than the pressure you specified. 35psi for mine. I also have the blowdown tube, the bottle warmer and the purge.

It will be very smart to have all the safety stuff Stangfreak95 has. You can purchase the items all separately depending on your budget. It will give you a little more confidence when you spray that you have a less likely chance at blowing your motor.
n20 is addictive and look forward to shelling out @ least $40 per week and gas $

Yea i can't wait to spray it on someone though. I'm going to hide the thing. Maybe i'll run into something fast as hell on the highway and i'll spray it on him. I'll be up like a prom dress.

What am i lookin to pay for all the safety stuff. What do you guys think the 4.6 99 cobra will hold up? Don't tell me ask the 4.6 forums because i'll never get a reply. That was my friend thread ever on stangnet. It never got answered.

I'm not going to spray it just for S...s and giggles. I don't want to hurt the motor honestly. I'm going just go spray it when i races this kids for money. Seems like everyone has a fast car these days and likes to talk S....

O i was thinking of having the purgue line go under the motor. I want to purge the car when i'm doing a burn out to heat the tires. This way no one will know i have nitrious. They won't be able to smell it either. What do you guys think or how would you set it up?

Just run the purge tube pointed torwards the ground. It all depends where you shop and what name brand you buy on the safety stuff.

I don't want any cheat crap so i don't blow my motor. I'm most likely going to get all the things from speed service by me.

What kind of spark plugs should i run in the 4v for the nitrious does anyone know?

I was wondering how can i get a two hit of nitrious. Meaning the first shot would be a 50 shot and only if i need it the other would be a +75-100 shot?

I have time to get everything. I might just hold off spraying the car till next year just to give my motor enough time to break in.
