Getting another 5.0 motor

Well...good news for me...I have been looking for a donor motor for a while now for another mustang that I plan on buying...so then I'll have two . Turns out that my buddy's dad is parting out a 90 F-150 since the frame is broke on it. They have had the truck for quite a long time now so I know it pretty well. Originally he was going to take the tranny out since it was just rebuilt and junk the rest of the truck, but I told my buddy that I wanted the engine out of it. So his dad made a deal with me that if I pulled the engine and tranny out, I could have the engine. The engine only has about 70k miles on it since it was rebuilt before he bought it...perfect for a 331/347 . Hopefully I'll have it sitting in my garage by this weekend.

With the help of you guys I'd like to make it a 331 or a 347 N/A with the best parts to get the best performance out of it. When I finally get a car for the motor, I'd like to make this kind of a family project when the time comes so everyone has a hand in it...me, my dad, both of my brothers, and even my mom if she wants to help. My older brother has always told me that he wanted to build something, but has never had the opportunity to, my little brother will be driving and working on his own vehicles soon so it will be a good learning experience for him, and my dad is really in his heights and glories when he gets to help me work on my mustang since he has owned several muscle cars when he was around my age. I'm pretty excited about it, and as I acquire the parts and the car I will keep this thread updated.
