I'm having trouble getting dried wax off of the rough-textured window trim on my 91 gt. I've layed into it with a wet rag and with some 409, but it still sits there unmolested. Any tips? I'm sure this is something all fox-owners have to contend with.

It sucks when wax gets on ruff moulding....try some mothers back 2 black. It keeps my moulding black for over a month at a time each time I use it.

Use peanut butter. It works great for removing wax residue. To save yourself the hassle in the future, buy a high quality wax that doesn't leave any white residue in the first place. I prefer Meguars #27 yellow wax myself.

Back to black is worthless. It wears off quickly and takes a ton of product to do the job.

I just used this stuff the other day on my stang on the side mirror trim, trim around my vert top, and window trim, and it looks awesome. The stuff is actually made for cleaning tires, but I really like it for trim pieces now, its called quick slicks, its not real expensive and it works great, cause I had dried wax on my mirrors, and around some trim as well, looked like crap and this cleared it up

i had to remove some of that wax about 6 months ago what i used was purple power that you can get at walmart for a couple of $. spray it on strait but be carefull not to get any on the paint it will strip the wax and you will see were it has been then use a tooth brush or something like that to get it out. That worked for me also you could use super tuff those 2 thing work great for cleaning your tires and rims too and for when u wash the seats and carpit.

Get some Forever black, its not silicon based like other stuff, it is a dye that last a long long time. It covers up white wax residue and faded molding, I just got some and it was 11.95 on some internet site.
