Great price is $1250.00 Out of the tire shop guy's mouth.

Any wheels tire upgrade is SSSSSOOOOOO worth it over the stockers. You think your stang handles good with the 15 in wheels and thick azz tires? Throw on a 17 and a 40 series and the handling will blow your mind. Add some chassis stiffeners and lowering sport springs and your in a new orbit.

No matter what path you take on wheels tires, just get something. You wont regreat it.

The great thing about the Fox Mustang is that it is such a great starting platform to mod however you feel best. The Stock Brakes on the Fox Mustangs are just plain terrible! And a brake upgrade is a worthwhile mod to make, as its no fun having an 11 sec Mustang that cant stop! If you ever have brake upgrades planned for the future, save your $ for the 5 lugs that way you dont have to buy wheels and tires twice!

having 4 lugs is like having leapersy here. A 4 lug car is everybit as fast as a 5 lug car. These guys will crap on your parade for getting some knockoff cobra r, but until they choke up cash for more mods, judt do what you can man. I got some off ebay about a year ago. They are holding up super. I got a 17x8 F and 17x9 R with 255-40s all around. They are so much better than stock wheels and 60 series tires its not funny. Plus the cash I saved on the wheels allowed me to spend money on other mods like rearend upgrades, MGW shifter, new Holley 4bbrl carb, suspension upgrades, etc. Yeah I coulda bought $1500 wheel tire combos and still been just as slow as any other un modded stang out there.

get your 4 lug wheels and dont worry about the 5 lug snobs out there. Youll still look clean riddin in your stang!

These cars should have never been made in 4 lug. What performance car with a V8 has a 4 lug configuration?? Its just silly.
And don't even get me going on the horrid brakes these Foxes seem to have.

Besides 5 lug looks so nice....

Could not have said it better myself! Also the cars should have never left the Factory with those excuse for brakes in the first place.

My 85 has driven 130,000 miles and never lost a wheel. lol. as long as you keep the nuts tight, the wheels arent going anywhere.

I will however absolutely agree about the brakes. They do suck! Piss poor for road racing. Very inediquate for drag. barely livable on the street.

fivespeedsteed, I hope you enjoy your wheels. Let us know how it goes...

When you start making power it has to be harder on those lugs! My 4x4 Toyota Truck has 6 Lugs and its only a 6 Cylinder. I think it is safe to say Ford robbed the wrong parts bin when it came time for the brakes and wheels.
