Glue for Side Mirror?

I was driving over to Best Buy this morning and I had the windows down and heard a quiet rattling sound. Looked over at my drivers side mirror and it was wobbling a bit (not due to my stereo being too loud), but when i touched it the wobbling went away.

Anyway, I get into the parking lot and when I get out I gave the mirror lens a little jiggle to see if it was the source of my noise and the glass almost fell into my hand (way better than shattering on the road).

It seemed to have some rubber cement type stuff holding it in place, but I want to use the right adhesive to glue it back in place.

Any suggestions?

Well, my usual auto parts store wasn't sure what to use either, so I called J. N. Phillips Glass Co. in Worcester, MA (2min drive from where I am) and they said to bring it down.

Five minutes later they had the mirror stuck back in place (after prepping the surfaces and using some silicone adhesive). The best part was that they did it for free and just said to remember them the next time I need a windshield.
