GM and Ford Merger possible ?

We'll need to modify the mullet.

I propose we find some common ground before this takes place so as to ease the integration.

Ford: Fires top execs who won't pay for better motors that the SVT guys want to build.

Chevrolet: Fires all artists, body men, and anyone else who had anything to do with 94+ Camaro's body lines... ESPECIALLY the LS1 cars with the fugly headlights. Outlaw mullets

Mercury: Makes model in commercials official spokeswoman for all of GM/Ford and allows her to pose for Playboy

Pontiac: Sells Trans Am WS6's for under $20,000

Lincoln: Does away with the "Navigator" since anyone in Nelly's possie has one

Cadillac: Does away with the "Escalade" since every member of G-Unit has one.

Add to that they build a bad ass car (call it something like Cobra Terminator II) with GM's LS7 427ci motor only with blower on top and Corvette suspension :D

edit: Yea I can imagine it now.... DOHC 427 with a 3.0L Whipple making about 1100 streetable HP.

4.6 Supercharged Pontiac Grand Prix GTP :D

Ill take two!

you want a charged 4.6L in a grocery getter? thats the same as putting a 5 liter in a cobalt. sure it would be fast, but i wouldnt want to be seen in it.

that would be sick. my two favorite companies, teaming together to ake on the rest of the automotive world with their brute american force.

the only problem would be that they'd have to have a death match to decide where to put the distributors

edit: im an idiot, it's been nearly a decade since either have used one

If they merged the first thing that should be done is scrap the ohc design. Obviously gm has the golden motor, an all aluminum, pushrod motor that can knock over 20mpg, a helluva lot smaller and lighter than a 4.6, and can be carried over to several models of cars. Ford screwed up by not updating the pushrod motor as gm did. An all aluminum 351W or even a 302 right from the factory. That'd be absolutely sick.
