I am going back to my dealer to have my tranny fixed tomorrow. It grinds and or clunks when I bang 3rd gear at high RPM's. I hope they don't try to screw me on my warranty. I have an '03 with 10 K on the clock. I read that the TR3650 is only rated at 360 lb/ft of torque. With my mods, do you think that they will try to void my warranty? I am not going to tell them about the 373's. All my other mods are clearly visible. I live in a small town, The dealer has been here for about 40 years, and they seem nice. By the way, how do they get paid when they do work under warranty? Am I screwed or what? Please give me your opinion. Thanks.

If they ask about the gears be honest, I had a ford tech start my car and just put it into gear and he could guess what ratio I had, 3.73s. Blew my mind, he never even reved the engine. Also I took the car in for tranny work, they knew about my tri-ax, and they drove the car, so im sure they knew I had gears, revs much faster then stock. They didnt question anything, fixed what I expected them to under warranty and offered to fixed what was wrong with the after market parts as well, for a small fee of course. Needless to say, ill be doin some work myself. Also I wouldnt tell them it happens at high RPM, they might hassle you about that. Good luck!

I don't think that you are even close to 360 lbs/ft at the flywheel with the mods you have yet, so don't worry about that. Like DJT said, honesty may pay off for you, esspecially in a small town like yours! Good luck!
