Ive been in the wrong wheel drive cylindrically challenged car group since 2003 when i bought my first money pit, 2003 gtp. had alot of fun with that car and got it to low 13s. then it got stolen and the ins company totaled it. just hope this mustang has the same wow factor that did when i got to modding it. what do you think this car (stang) will run the way its set right now? Looking forward to learning a new car. i know i had fun with the last one.

Hey man that's a sharp car, I saw it at the track a couple weeks ago. It looks good and seems to run well too. Good luck with it!!!

First of all, welcome to the Mustang world, glad you're on our side now. Although a gtp isn't bad, and I wouldn't call it rice.

Agreed. Sits a little low for my tastes too. Not sure what the deal is with the cage either. At least if it's done right you won't need to put one in when you start running real fast. It Sounds pretty much stock other than the intake. You won't see much improvement until you get into the heads. It'll probably run a low 14, maybe a high 13 if you can drive. The lowering springs and street tires will really hurt it.

Well, as long as all that overkill stuff - 4" hood, cage, etc. - is going to be put to actual use later on, that's all well n' good. Slap on a big honkin' blower with a Spyder intake (or whatever tall enough to necessitate that size of a hood), throw on some slicks, make sure the rear end is beefed up and buttoned down, and then you're rockin'.

In the meantime, it still looks pretty darned good. Pretty good pic angles, too.

you don't know what the sellers plans were for the car, maybe he was ready to go nuts on it and ran into trouble, who knows.
