Goin to the track

Hey guys im takin my svo to the drag strip next weekend. There are no mods whatsoever it is completley as it rolled off the showroom floor, only things im gonna do is take out the spare tire and jack. My dad my be setting me up with a set of slicks, do u guys have any tips or pointers for me ive never been to the track before.

First tip.....I wouldn't use slicks a whole lot with an SVO. I blew up a rear on street tires. If you run slicks make sure to change the fluid and check everything over good first.

slip the clutch, i didnt, i either bogged hard or spun a didnt move

My first advice would be... don't try to run a record time your first time out.

Just enjoy you're first time at the track and worry about running record time later.

baby the car down the track untill you get used to slipping the clutch to spool the turbo and launching, i reccomend to go practive the launch someplace safe first that was my problem the first couple times i had it at the track
