Thats where we differ I would NEVER throw 3.55s on a 5-speed car, we own one, it just feels slow. 3.73s in my car when I had the exact same mods felt much stronger, and the 4.10s, even better.
I would LOVE to see the facts that state 3.55s are the best gear for a stock 5-speed car. Now Im saying FACT, with solid proof to back it up. No article with someones opinion, I want something 100% that tells me without a shadow of a doubt the 3.55s are the perfect gear for a stock 5.0.
Also what case in point, because the OP doesnt have a stock car, just a stock cam, and we all know stock cammed cars dont all run out of steam at 4500 RPM.
No arguing, just debating, I would like to see these facts you speak of, as they are new to me, and might change my whole idea on how to make a Mustang fast!
Well that's what I heard the rule of thumb is when I bought a 5.0 and joined this site.
Is my running 2 tenths slower when changing gears not fact enough?
