you can get into the 11's for a couple thousand with stock heads and motor. Get Lt's, full exhaust, plenum, TB, intake tube, gears, tires, programmer, and nitrous. subframe connectors a must too. suspention and lots of practice will help too.tx2000gt said:Ok, I guess I'll just shoot for low 12's to high 11's.
If you are going to go 10's start to do prevenative work first, SCs, build your rear up with 31 spline or better, diff, gears, weld torque boxes, axle tubes, do suspention work and then move up. your stock tranny won't help you either.tx2000gt said:Ok, I guess I'll just shoot for low 12's to high 11's.
hotmustang331 said:Its really not that bad...take it to Tim at MPH have them weld your torque boxes and stuff, get some sub frames welded, have them put in cobra tank/pump, buy their forged SB, get some custom cams by them, buy an intercooled novi 2000 setup, buy X pipe, and CB, run 15PSI through it, have tim tune it (close or at 550RWHP), then buy a spec STG 3 clutch, 31 spline axles, 3.55-3.73 gears, an auborn 31 spline posi, and some 15 inch DOT slicks. Thats should get a mid 10 and the tranny should hold...someone broke one (3650) at a 10.30. If its a t45, just buy a viperspec T56 or a TKO 600. Thats about all you really need to get in the 10s.
