hey guys, still in high school and im striving to get the baddest car in the p-lot. im going to spend around 150$ or so this week and do something right before school ends. i was think about either tint windows 20% all around, adding 2 10" subs and an amp, gears, or throttle body and upper plenum, or just some odds and and ends like a mach 1 grille delete and other random stuff. what do you guys think would be the best thing in my situation?

The only thing I see that would cost less than $150 is the grill delete. The gears might be $150-$175 but you'd need to install them yourself to stay within your budget.

For me, the $180 or whatever I spent on the MGW shifter was probably my fav mod for the money. If you're trying to impress highschool kids though, I'd go with some kind of appearance mod, like the grill delete, or tint.

Too bad high school kids wont even notice the grille delete, unless you show them b4 & after pictures. the only thing they would notice is if you put some huge ugly, chrome, blingy 22's on it....LOL...Or if you got a boomin system.

You driving a car is impressive enough to children, I would think. Most would not even know what you're talking about when you say "Yeah, I bought some gears!" They would think you're talking about your transmission.

A sound system gives you the wrong kind of attention in a high school lot. Lowering springs?
