Going to the dyno tomorrow

Iam heading to Dez racing in Mass tomorrow to get a dyno tune. Iam hoping to see atleast 425 rwhp, here is my list of mods.

-Rebuilt stock 302 notched stock pistons CR is about 8.25 to 1 or 8.5 to 1 cant remember at the moment
-F303
-World Products Senior heads(slight exhaust porting) These heads flow about the same as TFS TW heads
-Edelbrock Performer
-70mm BBK TB and EGR spacer
-1.6 roller rockers
-42 lb injectors with matching PRO M meter
-Holley 255 forced induction model intank
-Full exhaust BBK shorties, Mac O/R X, Mac catback
-S trim 7" crank 2.85" pulley(pretty sure) 12 psi or so

Those are the basics, what do you guys think? At the moment the lowest I can get the car to idle and still run as well as to be expected is 1000-1100 rpm. a tune will fix this correct? Iam guessing because of my compression he will need to pull some serious timing to make good power. But anyways wish me luck Iam pretty nervous about it!

WOW! you have a very similar setup to me. I went with the gt40x heads but I have the same blower setup, cam etc.

Let me know all the details!! cost/ time spent/ hp and overall experience...

I am planning on going with DEZ after I break my motor in.

Will do, Ive been to the shop once already to get the chip and MAF meter. Dealt mostly with the owner, Mike very nice guy. Everyone working seemed to want to be there and nobody talked down to me like I was a idiot which is one of the biggest reasons I chose Dez. There is a MM&FF mag one of the last two months and one of his cars is in there, its a green GT and they have a tech article on it.

Well results are in, kinda.... Made 392 rwhp at 5300 when it ran out of fuel. Tuner says once I put a inline pump in they can take it higher and give it alittle more timing. 2 degrees timing gave me about 35 rwhp at one point. Should easily make my goal and chances are exceed it, Dez seems to think right around 450 when all is said and done. I believe my valve seals are junk so I would like do those before I return. I do have the dyno sheet but I will post up the final one in afew weeks. But for the moment anyways Iam pretty happy with how things are looking, once everything is all squared away I dont see why 11's are out of the question. :nice:

Yes blackened is right, injectors are new and so is the pump. The A/F is so flat it isnt funny until 5250-5300 and it starts to lean out. I agree about the power its making for the pump it has but I have also read about similar probs around the power Iam making. Ill just get the inline in, anderson has a nice kit Dez suggested so I will order it next week and put it in. Iam also going to contact the engine builder because he was the one that also did the heads for me and have him put new valve seals in to fix up my oil problem. Then like I said before hopefully I will be able to go back to the dyno and finish it up. Even with the power its making now and only being able to bring it to 5200 or so it feels like a animal. I also have to put in my maxflow discharge tube and bypass, just have the plastic bosch in there at the moment.
