good asking price for a good running 140-150k mile 5.0??

i am wanting to know how much the longblock out of my car will be worth, it will have around 150k on it when its pulled. It runs great, doesnt smoke, no strange noises. runs great. how much do u think i can get out of it?

I'd say a little less. Maybe $200 - $300. You can hit up eBay for a explorer motor with 60,000miles for around $400.00 + shipping from Kansas

My local scrap yard has 3 complete running 90,000 mile engines that they are selling for $300-400 each. I would say a 150k mile long block is actually worth less then the used block itself.
