Woulda been $400 if I had gone with normal rotors instead of c/d and slotted if I remember right.

When I did mine, I didn't change the master cylinder, and when my buddy did his, he did. We both think that my pedal "feels" better, and they both stop within 1% of each other acording to the Gtech, sometimes mine was better, sometimes, his... niether of us changed the proportioning valve. He used the MC that came with his kit, which I belive to be a '94-5 Cobra.

Could you elaborate on "feels better"? Harder or softer pedal? Less travel before the brakes are fully applied?

They are crappy single piston ones...not to be on a car that has a lot of mod potential

couple questions please

does anyone know of a detailed walkthrough of how to install the front Cobra kit ??? (I've never done breaks)

will the cobra conversion fit behind the OE GT slotted 5 spoke 17 inchers? I have the 16" ponies (need to sell), but want to keep the car looking GT, no Cobra wheels. I'll also need to find calipers that don't read Cobra on them, but shouldn't be a problem....

thanks for any help

They should fit. I used my bullitt brakes (same thing as the cobra) with the stock 17" tribars.
