Good Cam for 1.7 rocker ratio

looking for a cam to run with my 1.7 rocker ratio.. will be running a 331 stroker.. AFR 185's I don't think I will go with a custom grind.. a guy got one for this 1.6 Ratio and it was not much different than a comp cam XE272HR. Anyways if some one could help me out it would be great

Check out CompCams XE line on their web page. They make one specifically for 1.7 rockers (might be the 266) -- with a 331 and 185's it wouldn't be wild at all.

I have the XE270HR-12 that comp said was designed for the 1.7's. It will have .544/.544" lift with the 1.7's. It has 218/224 duration, but I think you would probably want more than that with your setup. I would look at the next step up cam for the 1.7's. I think the lift may be similar, but it is something like 224/230 duration which is probably more suited for your high flowing motor.
