Here is what I know about it. (Haven't seen it in person yet)

1990 LX Notch
Strawberry Red
Black Interior
5spd
130,XXX miles
Stock except for CAI

Car is said to immaculate inside and out and this is coming from a guy that is VERY picky.

He’s asking $5,500 and I was going to offer him $4,750-5,000.

Do you guys think that’s a good deal or should I keep looking?

$5,500 for a stock 130k mile mustang? LOL people still think they are rare & made of gold I see. tell him to put the pipe down. that's a $2,500 car tops

I don't know what its like in NJ but its damn near impossible to find a clean Fox around here, they've all be riced out or total POS. I know the car BBs for about $2500 but that gets you nothing today.

i agree. location has a lot to do with pricing. around here, a clean fox starts at about 5k, and really nice ones, but nothing too special, fetch over 10k quite regularly. some of the cars i see you guys pick up for 2 or 3k would EASILY go for double up here, probably in the first day.

Well just got back and not getting it. Just wasn't as nice as what Im looking for. Needed more work than what I was willing to pay.

If anyone knows of a nice CLEAN fox around the Indiana area let me know.

id say you paid about right then Loco. To many it depreciates a cars value with tons of mods.

mine was 6500 in 04, or 05...i forget lol

I paid $4,800 (in 2003) for my 9 out of 10 exterior & MINT interior 93 gt w/84k miles on it as well.

the deals are out there. you just have to be patient & dont get frustrated & overpay for junk like most do. i just laugh everytime i see these beat foxes for 4-5k

It's not a bad price for Indiana. A unmolested fox is hard to find around here. I would put you in my hatch for 5000. It's not perfect but it is not been run hard or beat on. Pic's in my garage.

So if the car has been garage kept its whole life and everything inside and out looks nearly brand new, the quarter glass still looks new, the paint looks factory new, the under side is clean enough to eat off of and the engine bay is detailed to a concourse correct level, yet it's just 99% stock and has 130k miles of sunny day cruising...it's only worth $2500?

I think you should at least get pics before you shoot the guy down. I've seen a lot of honest to God 10 second cars that were total and complete $hit.
