I am looking at a 2007 white Mustang GT premium with 6300 miles, manual, 18" wheels, IUP, Shaker 500, all stock.... For $18,000... well I have talked them down to that value.... Is it a good deal in todays market?
I bought mine 6 months ago for 21k. All the same numbers, except mine is alloy, , and I have 40k miles. I had spent a good two months prior to that talking down every mustang GT in the area. I could not get one anyone to sell to me for less than 21k, believe me, I tried.
Sad to think I have already lost 3k in value. So it goes I suppose.
Ditto on the white. If the color and interior is what you really like, then IMO its a good deal. Personally, however, when I was shopping for my car, I had the choice of a WVB Premium, IUP; or a white Premium, IUP and also comfort group. I really wanted the comfort group but the WVB stood out. So even when the white car had an additional option I wanted, it was color that made the decision. But to each his own.
Granted white is not the best color... unless you add Le Mans stripes. In red or blue, a white mustang with big fat stripes is very cool. Perhaps even the coolest of all combination, because you have to be brave enough to initially purchase an uncool color and then modify it.
Don't listen to them!!! I have been in love with the white mustangs forever. I couldn't find one and after looking for 2 months, I settled on a Torch Red GT. Mind you, mine is an 08 loaded GT with 11km for the equivelent of $16000US. I paid $20000 for mine and jumped on it for that price. If I could find a white one tomorrow, my red one would be gone instantly.
White is the new look. Tinted out with black rims and lowered. They are clean and beautiful.
Sounds like a good deal to me. Consider that the blue book would be about $22,000. They may sell for a little cheaper than $18,000 considering the economy though, it's always work a try.
