I know i've seen guys with far DR's on 10holes and turbines.

I just picked these up dirt cheap for my 5.0. What's a decent size tire without going too big? I dunno if i can fit more than a 275 in my well. I was thinking of a 255 or 265 but will a 275 fit?

A 255 is pushing it on a 7 inch rim. I have 245s on my 10 holes and it's a butt load of tire on that rim. I'd think that for optimal traction anything larger than a 225/235 would start to hurt traction.

You mention 15 x7 in your thread but aren't they 16" rims???

For a 15"....

A 275/50 will fit, but you'll need to trim or roll your lips to be safe, it will buldge a little decreasing the footprint. A 235/60 will fit perfect on that rim....

Those are 15's in the pic. Backside of the spokes are clearly stamped 15x7.

I was thinking of trying for a 245 or 255. I had 245 tires on my 16x7 pony wheels.

my opinion is to use a wider wheel than tire to get all of the tire.
I would stick with a 235/60/15 drag radial as it is a common size and use more of the tire.

But to each their own . . .
