Better hope that you have use for that hood apparently cowl hoods are frowned upon on this site.

no not a crack. it'a a leaf on the floor if you look closely.
i would say at this point for what i have in the car i should hear no bull***** about the hood. if they do ***** em. it's my car and i love the way it looks. it's by no means anywhere near stock. if it were i could see a big deal. anyway i'm happy with it and it looks great. just in time for the track. my first time on sun, should be fun.

My buddy has that hood on his 88 hatch, looks good on it, seems to flow nicely with the 93 cobra wing. On a notch? hmmmm, still undecided.....

sadly paint will be awhile. not sure about what color yet anyway. i want to finish the rest of the car before paint. planning on a complete 5 lug conversion with upgraded brakes and such. i'm in no hurry. taking it step by step.

...AND they get rid of that unsightly trademark dent in the nose of almost every stock '87-'93 Fox-body's hood.

Unless you are having a heating problem, this "benefit" changes nothing.

This concept would work for a carbureted car, but not EFI.

Maybe for just typical driving, but for racing of any kind, you would benefit. Even with a 3 core radiator an engine will get hot...especially a bone stock car with the crappy stock radiator. I know every stock Mustang i've ever owned was hot as hell after a couple passes down the track...a cowl hood would at least help cool the engine more than if there was no cowl.

We're not talking night and day here, but it would help more than nothing at all.
