GOT A NEW HOOD TODAY!

cervini's is worth every penny.

I've got a buddy who has a Stalker nose and Harwood hood....the hood is perfect but the nose doesn't line up with the top of the fenders....it's kinda BS to pay almost 500 for a nose and it doesnt line up.

Better hope that you have use for that hood apparently cowl hoods are frowned upon on this site.

When have you seen people hating on cowl hoods? BTW, that's not a cowl hood.

I'd be more concerned with the vent visors on that car than the hood.

That's NOT a cowl hood? What is it, then?

The hood dent to which I referred always happens on the '87-'93 (aero) models. All it takes is one time for someone to push down on the front while closing the hood, or to lean back against it just right (maybe a girlfriend with pointy hip bones leaning on it for a sexy pic), and then BWOOMP! A dent forevermore. Unless maybe one of those Ding King devices could pop it back out...

Anyway. No worries about that, now that you've got fiberglass. Whenever I've got the bucks to put into a new hood for mine, Cervini's and Harwood are gonna be my two first options.

Personally i like Harwood hoods better....i've never seen one that didn't fit perfectly right out of the box, they need no finishing prep work for paint, and the shape of the cowl is what i really love....most cowls come straight up off the hood on the sides and i think that's gay looking...the Harwoods (at least up to about 4 inches) have about an 80 degree slant on each side leading up to the top...i think it's a smoother look for a cowl and just a big edgy hump.

Also, HO Fibertrends make a GREAT hood as well, also Maier Racing make great fiberglass hoods and fenders but these two brands are pretty pricey. Maier i think is just as good if not better than Cervinis and they're around 380 for a hood.

it looks good, but i have always preferred the look of the stock hood, mho the only aftermarket hood i really like is the heat extractor and i still don't think i ever will buy one, i did however find a stock replica carbon fiber hood( i would paint it of course) does any one know how much lighter they are than the glass hoods

hood looks great.

I also have that dent now, as i was cruising down the road trying to hurry home one night as it was getting stormy. The wind knocked a small rotted piece of a branch which landed in that perfect spot. ill prob just end up putting back on my cobra RR hood i've had for several years....i really like the stocker though.

as far as im concerned anything stock just sucks....thats why we do what we do....MODIFY............the hood looks great....like i said stock sucks..
I disagree that stock sucks.
There is plenty of completely stock looking mustangs here that i would take over others than have been modded on the outside.

I'm obviously not partial to stock considering what my car looks like, but i don't think stock is always a bad thing. Sometimes less is more.
