YES! My convertible top was for the birds, so I finally cracked down and got it replaced... HOLY COW IS IT WHITE!

Blinding white... whenever it's in the sun, I can't look directly at it.
Here are some pics from yesterday

Looks nice.

But did you dye your hair?

'Cause you know that's for chicks, right?

Hhaha, does it count if the chick dyes it for you?

I guess that's a little better. But only if it was her idea and you were being the "good boyfriend" (i.e. making sure you're still getting it regularly).

IMO it's getting kinda rediculous that guys are becoming more and more like women in the mainstream. We now have DIY highlight kits for our hair, men's moisturizers, and people like Justin Timberlake who promote this image.

What ever happened to the good old days where men could smell like B.O., drink beer, and scratch ourselves?

Oh yeah, and if this was the girl that wanted me to dye my hair orange.

I would go around looking like a traffic cone.

LMAO
that's awesome

It was totally her idea... and believe me, going back to the beer drinking man I used to be has always been a dream of mine. Just probably not realistic
She's definitely the woman I'm willing to sacrifice for, within reason of course. She doesn't drive the car! lol

The damage on the top was $500 cash installed... and the top was $189 from 50resto.com
Just keep in mind the back glass window with canvas is considered separate from the actual top itself. So check into getting that part "repaired" rather than replaced and you'll do okay

Hhaha 2500 pics? hm... you know me better than I figured
How did you know??

rolla: they're 17x9s all around man, i bought em at www.crossroadzdirect.com
but the real trick is to slam the car as low as you can without sacrificing too much road comfort and make sure you have a low enough tire wall.

wyt: you're hilarious man! Kel (the gf) was like "i had the blue top on!" i don't know how well it would look on the car...
probably better off muhahah

more pics on THAT... to come...

Sweet looking as always......
That top is W-H-I-T-E, that looks great.

Caldwell thanks again for all your help with my suspension build. Took it on Vacation with us and it was like a totally different car Took it thru the twisty Mountain roads of eastern Tennessee on the way home. I still have cramps in my face from the 4 day grin that I had.

The mods that are on the car now include:
Bullit Pedals
Black & Chrome Shifter Knob
White Convertible Top
(4) 17x9 Chrome Saleen Rep Rims
Yoko Tires
Cobra Headlights with Diamond Clear Corners (BMW High Intensity bulbs for heads and corners)
uhh... Viper Alarm, Pioneer Mp3 deck...
King Cobra clutch, MAC Cold Air Intake, Underdrive pulleys, superchip,
Tinted windows... H&R Supersport lowering springs...

you're makin me think here...

Hmm... I just bought the thing a year ago... stupid car's starting to add up to a lot of money!
I think that's all i've spent so far.......... thinking.... thinking.... oh exhaust, but I want Magnaflows...

Future Mods: (this is easy)

Saleen Side Skirts,
Saleen rear bumper, with molding to cover up the 3 side air vents
Saleen s281 wing
Cervini Stalker front bumper
CDC Lightbar
3 inch Chrome exhaust tips
New White & Black leather seats... (although i don't know exactly what i'm doing with that, ie: new covers or new recaro seats altogether)
and either a cobra hood, or keeping it stock.

as for mods engine wise, 373 gears, like i said about the magnaflow muffs, and if i get randy with money, a turbo... (that's a whole different discussion)

So.... I have a lot to do yet!
hahah, that was a full question dude *wipes the sweat from his brow*
