Roush got a new toy for the summer

picked it up a few weeks ago, i have about 600 miles under my belt no trouble so far i got comfortable pretty quick. this is my first bike which i was weary of a 750 but i got it for a GREAT price. couldnt pass it up. im taking the safety course in a few weeks and ive been taking it really easy, dont want any slip ups

...the funny part is I guessed what it was before I opened the thread.....great minds think a like That's a sweet looking bike. I, myself, have been looking for just the right Hayabusa. Hopefully, I'll come across it very soon. Meanwhile, I'm stuck on my old school FZR 600 from 1990. As stated in a previous thread, I look like a circus clown on it......

Nice ride. Just remember one key thing - it is easy to turn that throttle and go fast, but it takes time, patience, and skill to turn and stop.

I lost 6 friends in a year when they bought biles because they like mine.....1/2 them split cars in into two pieces.....

.....I agree!!!! However, until I come across the right 'busa, the 40mg the FZR gets, I'll gladly look like a circus clown. And then laugh at all the fools filling up there 25 gallon SUV for $80+ while I fill up the 4 gallon bike at $15

Yeah, I get over 40mpg with my 96 GSXR-750 driving in town to work like there is no tomorrow...
Commuting 0-60 in 3 or 4 seconds on 1st gear and so on... still getting 40~45mpg... Make those hybrids feel bad

lol, well atleast it gets the job done. these gas prices are horrible my car hasnt been out [with the exception of saturday] in a month.

I don't blame you.

I don't own any cars or trucks that have less than 8 cylinders. Just look at it this way. In London today, fuel ( or Petrol as they call it ) is almost 1 pound per liter. That's almost 8 bucks a gallon. Trust me, we still have it easy. Just ask EDGE.
