Got Caught Speeding

Well me and the wife were heading down the interstate to a friends house and this guy in a dodge durango is taking up the left lane and holding up traffic, so i get a break in the traffic of course i stomp it and get around him. I guess the same time i did this we passed a cop, i didn't see him, well the cop got me for doing 83 in a 65(reckless driving)STUPID ME< STUPID ME. Me and the wife were already having a disagreement so this added on great. So i think i'll have a clear record until i'm 30. It's just funny how i spend the majority driving extremely conservative because of this and all it takes is 10 sec's passing someone.

Yeah it seems like the troopers target muscle cars especially stangs. It is the end of the month and he does have quota to maintain. If it was any other time he might have let you go. Sorry to hear about your misfortune.

I always hear about people getting out of tickets, but i just don't have that luck. I am interested to see what my fine will be and if i can take driving school for it.

Cops don't have quotas. They can write as many as they want.

its the exact oppisite around here....i get "the look" from cops...sometimes im followed for miles....but its NOTHING compared to my friends that drive imports...they are the ones who get harrassed...i could probably drive by a cop and rev my engine passed himand as long as i wasnt speeding he wouldnt do a thing....

LOL. I just heard that yesterday. "But do you have a chain steering wheel?"

I also just get a look from cops. Maybe because my exhaust is pretty quiet. They seem to mostly go after rice rockets and fox body stangs. Probably because just about every fox around here has flows and no cats. In cali, thats a crime punishable by death.

Cops don't have quotas. They can write as many as they want.

Well they dont have actual "quotas". However, they are required to write so many tickets or they will get a "talking" to by their supervisor.

I came so close to getting a ticket tonight. The guy in front of me got nabbed. Of course I was driving the "shaggin Wagon" our family van. I was sweating it there for few minuits!
