Got F'ed over last night by the cops

how is there any proof that we were racing though... there was no flagger. no light no beeps on anything we both have loud cars and accelertaed back up to speed because we were going about 20 when he was talking to me

if you live in texas get a lawyer, i got the same ticket but i guess because i was so polite to the cop she scratched off racing and put unsafe speed

I also got the same ticket in my wifes Tiburon. If your in Florida make sure you get a good lawyer because in 2007 they bumped it up to a minor felony, 6 months loss of license and a ton of other stupid crap, that's what my lawyer told me when I got mine in 06. Get that same ticket again in 5 years of the first and it's not pretty. Make sure that you get a lawyer that has experiences in this type of tickets or your in trouble.

Your lawyer will be the key in getting you out of this. In Florida they give this ticket out for the most retarded reasons from what my lawyer told me.

That sucks! If you take any of my advice make sure you get a lawyer that has experiences in this type of ticket. There is allot of ways to get out of it but you need a certain type of lawyer. I was lucky, my lawyer was a Mustang nut, I got of with a 5 mph over the speed limit and points with held and adjudication with held. It was a 68.00 ticket I think.

yeah one night i was sitting at the light i had a trailblazer to my right a charged SS camaro behind me and an rx-7 behind the trailblazer. i left the line a little quick continued through 2nd when i hit 50ish i made 2nd to 4th shift and slowed as the ss passed i looked back for the rx7 and saw a cop cutting traffic with lights pulled me and said i was street racing and put an estimated speed of 70 on the ticket. it was the same cop i had been pulled by a week earlier for doing 5 over.

Of the only 2x I've ever been pulled over in my Mustang, the first time was the worst. The cop pulled me over for "doing 35 in a 30" when my speedometer said I was doing 31. He was a 50-something military type guy and was an absolute dick. Said I was going to lose my license if I didn't stop driving that way and so on and so forth.

Now that I think about it though...I haven't seen him patrolling lately so I have a feeling he might have had 1 too many complaints filed against him and is no longer on the patrol force. Sucker.
