Got me into the 12s.....

Well last night I headed out to the track via a trailer and every tool imaginable soo i wouldnt get stuck again. Put on the slicks, popped in the 100 shot pills and ran a full bottle. Got to the track and dumped in 3 gallons of 110. First run was depressing with out the nitrous, i ran a 15.114 at 96mph. I blame that on my timing being retarded to 8 degrees for the nitrous. With the bottle open and ready to go I returned. I ran a 12.737 at 109.28mph. My 60 was 1.816 and my reaction was a poor 1.095 . I ran 2 other times and ran consistent 12.8s at 109. My best reaction of the night was .574. As the bottle got lower and lower, my engine would bog harder and harder off the line soo I called it quits when it got passed 600psi. The 100 shot off the line was probably the most suprising launch I have ever felt. A friend of mine said my front end was fully flexed and he thought he could get his hand under my tire...I have it on tape and didnt slow it down enough to where i can see but ya it was one hard launch. With my 12 second passes I raced a z06 with nitrous and rocked it...(street tires) and a new gto which ran in the 15s... My buddies 04 mach1 couldnt get into the 13s yet again. My other buddies were racing there newly aquired f-150s, a 02 lariat fx4 (towed me) and a 95 5.8 4x4. They each ran side by side 17.2s and were launching off the 2nd amber lol. Im pretty pumped that my set up is finally showing its abilities.....

Mexican 302 block with a 289 crank, .04 over. If my math is correct my over all cubes should be about 291.
