Flew up to Carlisle for the All Ford Nationals and got my GT500, Classic Design Concepts worked their ass off to get it ready. Many props go out to them. Still on the road so plan to have some cool writeups of all the cool work everyone accomplished, but I wanted to share with you guys the car. Needless to say I am in love!! :nice:

 :nice: any tips to help out those that are still waiting on their GT500s? how did you survive the wait?

i really like the painted chin spoiler-looks sharp!

Very nice! Your car confirms that I should go with chrome or polished wheels for my Performance White with Vista Blue Stripe Paint Job.
Definitely going to go with the deep dish in the back and normal lip up front like you have. It looks good. :hail2:
Question though, how do you like the painted mirrors? I'm thinking carbon fiber inserts or the white inserts instead of full painted mirrors.

Looks quality man! Cudos to you for having the balls to go through with the glass roof from CDC.

I think it looks great and for getting it at sticker it's a sick ride. Did you ever consider painting the S and Y blue on the back? You should photoshop it to see how it would look, because you can't read Shelby..

Can I have it?

Well let me get back to you on that! :D

Well people talk about how big the mirrors are and that painting them with them that big 'makes' them big. Let me tell you, having it key colored (painted body color) allows them to blend in with the rest of the lines and the mirrrors no longer look 'big'.

Ya, I puckered up and took the leap. Well worth it.

That's awesome. Clean and tasteful. I like everything about it. That spoiler is awesome. Is that a custom version of the Foose spoiler?

Yes! They took the Foose spoiler, took CAD measurements from our rendering and then cut out the indention, then hand molded in ABS plastic to make the shape/look. No bondo, fiberglass etc used. Awesome work.

In real life they seem to show up fine.

Very cool! When the rapture comes can I have your car? :nice:

...tell you what, you can ride shotgun. :)

Very nice turnout!!!!!:nice: Very classic looking with the wheel choice. I see you didn't go with the painted headlight surrounds...will you or no? Also, noticing the attention to detail...even the strut tower brace is painted to match the hood stripes:nice: I absolutely love the roof. In person, can you see in from the top? I know it is a CDC car, but the Silver Horse Racing quarter window louvers would give it that ultra sleek look:nice:

All in all, a VERY outstanding car! Congrats!

Dear MRaburn,

You ARE a lucky man!!!

If I could get a GT500 "at sticker price", I'd buy two...

Around Chicago, they all have big $$$ markups...

Can't see paying $65,000 for a $45,000 car...

That't like getting a $1,000,000 for my house when it's only worth $600,000...

Best of Luck to you and "drive safely"...

Dave
