Mods are in the sig. After a couple weeks of down time I finally got my car runnin. The heads are a bit too big but I can grow with them and they really scream above 2800 rpms. I plan on going to the dyno asap to see what it puts down.

Even from 25-30 feet away the car is so loud it overloads the mic on the camera.

28 year old car. 20 year old driver. It wont come clean. When I repaint it I'll pull the motor and have the bay resprayed. Thats a mistake I made years ago when I had it painted.

Probably more cubes when my engine finally bites the dust. I'd like a 408.

Good for you man. It is hard to believe the pic with the ugly engine bay and the nice painted exterior are the same car. I'm sure you were ready to have your car back though!

The exteriors really not that great, the paint on it is old and I had to park the car outside for a few years after I got it painted. Its obviously better than the engine bay but if your closer than 10 or 15 feet you can tell the car could use a paint job. The engine bays not that bad guys, but maybe I shouldn't have posted pics on this site considering what I know about how most of you react to works in progress . You guys have to take into consideration that I am a 20yr old college student with a limited income, I'm trying here, but performance means more to me at this point.

I'm a 22 year old student. Like I said i'm sure you were just ready to have your car back. Didn't mean to crap on your car mine's no spring chicken Lol. Mods can only happen as the cash comes in and if you're like me your project is also your daily driver. Glad it runs well for you, going to be a good season.

I think whats irritating me right now, isn't you guys pointing out the obvious, its that I had the perfect opportunity when I had the motor torn down, to do a quick repaint of my engine bay, especially considering I have a half gallon of the correct paint for the car and a couple paint sprayers. The thought just never crossed my mind lol.

I'm lookin to buy another car here soon, and move out, so when I get that all settled I plan on disassembling the car to get it ready for a high quality repaint.

I know exactly what your saying 7950pacecar and trust me you did it right. If you started to worry about the engine bay your car would be down for a long time and you would hugely regret it. I did it and havent driven mine in coming up on 2 years. Trust me enjoy the car and when the time comes, paint the bay.

BTW sounds real healthy, now we need some driving vids (a car under a load sounds sooo much better then just revving). And you really NEED and off road X. To me magnaflows need an OR X,

Yeah i'm only 17 also and in high school. I bought my car with low miles so the engine bay and exterior paint is mint. I pretty much put every dime i have into it. I mean i've already put more then i payed for the car in modifications, and i haven't even touched the engine besides a Full exhaust and some other minor upgrades. Although spending 2500 dollars on brakes and another 1000 on rims and other 500 on tires doesn't help. Oh and all the shocks and struts(350) lowering springs, castercamber plates and saleen ground effects adds another 2 grand. And many many more things. It adds up very quick. I dont even want to start on the engine, by then i'll have like 10 g's in the engine alone when im done with it! damn old ponys ha. But i got a garage so shes protected from snow and rain! I just picked up a 2000 grand am gt 2door for my daily driver and wow is that a after driving the stang haha. Unfortunetly the stang has turned into a weekend car

Thanks guys.

I'm not sure about an X pipe. I also like the sound of an X with magnaflows, but I dont want it to be too raspy because its already pretty raspy.
