Got my Steeda Sports today - whoo- hooo!

After alot of research I decided on the Steeda Sport springs with Tokico Illumina struts and shocks combination. I also had the urethane isolators, tie rod ends and Steeda 4 bolt CC plates installed at the same time. My car went from just fun to drive to whoo-hooo to drive! I have the Illuminas set to 3 and will experiment tomorrow with the fronts to see what the differences are but I really like 3 so far. The ride is much more planted, controlled and firm. It is NOT harsh at all. The handling is so much better. This is how the car should have come from the factory. If you're on the fence about this, do it. You'll be glad you did.

I also just have to mention Sean and Jerry at TFES-Performance in Brookline NH. They are car guys and know what they're doing. They are also the only Steeda dealer in New England. If you want someone you can feel confident in to work on your Mustang or other performance vehicle, these are the guys. They also do the lift kit mods for off roaders too.

I've only had this Mustang since August and I'm turning into a mod junkie again. I have modded a few other cars over the years but this one is the most fun. Now, what to do next...so many choices....hmmmm

I'm in the market for the same springs, and I want to pair'em up with mach 1 shocks/sturts. We need pics!
BTW, do you mind me asking why you got the urethane islators and tie rod ends? Was your suspension sqeaking or something?

Steeda says the springs will lower the car 1" to 1.25". It's a great spring, especially when you add a few more parts like you did. The package handles great and doesn't get harsh.

At the price we sell the Steeda parts for, they're just HOT!

Add a set of LCA's and/or a panhard bar as mentioned above and you'll be screaming through the turns!

Here's a couple of pics. Sorry about the delay. That work thing keeps getting in the way...The car lowered exactly 1.125 inches in the front and .875 in the back.

Thats it you have me convinced, your car looks a lot if not exactly like my 03. Those Steeda's give it a nice stance congrats.

2Gt's: I didn't take any offense. I will look into the panhards and subframes although my next mod might be the 4:10's with posi like Rocketman did.

Tis cool - and nice website. I'm pretty much a stang/mod nut as well - my idea of fun is cleaning out the garage!
The 4.10's are really the best mod you can do. This alone will give you more grins than any other, except maybe a blower. It's not an increase in horsepower, but it feels like an honest to God 50 RHWP or 800 lb loss - light and nimble. You'll love it!
BTW, the POSI isn't necessary when going to 4.10s. But if you do, this is a good time to upgrade it all, including 31 spline axles.
