I went with TT2 (of course) 17x8 in front and 17x9 in rear. I like the agresive stance, what size tires should I go with?

I've been reading 235/45 front and 275/45 rear? Is that correct? Any better combinations out there?

My bad guys... she's a 68..

But I just noticed as i was checking out. I can get the 17x8 for the 68 stang, but the 17x9 said it was as follows:

+24mm offset (5.95" backspacing) - fits Mustang 1994-2004 with 5x4.50" (5x114.3mm) lug-pattern.

Can I use the 17x9 or better to just get x8 all around?

From my research now im swaying towards 235/40 front and 275/40 rear?

The above recommendations are great, but you may be able to go 245/45 in front.

a 9" wheel is pretty wide, and unles the offset is EXACT,good luck,8's all around might fit better.I dont belive in same size tires front and rear,it looks better with a fat tire in the back, unless your carving corners.

I too dont believe in the same size tire. This is just a cruiser - I've decieded to keep it easy and go with 17x8 on all 4 corners...

Now should I go with 255/45 (or is it 40 not sure) on rear and 235/40 on front?

I want an agresive stance - will be doing the grab-a-trak suspension.

a 45 series might be too tall, stick with a 40 all the way around.

I don't have mine mounted yet, so I cannot tell you how it worked out, but..

I went with 275/40/17 for the rear and 235/45/17 on the front.

-8x17 for the front w/ 4.75 bs and 9.5x17 with 5.5 bs for rear.

Here is a good site to compare the sizes.

What backspacing did you go with on the front and rear?

LOL.

They are pretty small dogs. 8 week old Japanese-chin. They were about 1.5lbs at the time.

We just had puppies again...interested

Just checked out the 1010 site. I was comaparing the dimensions of the tires, and it stated that I would need a 8.5 - 9" rim to run a 255... Is that correct? I thought I heard of plenty guys here running 255 on a 8" rim...

Also anyone running a 255/45/17? I think I'd like the extra width in the sidewalls for the rear to look a little bulkier. I wonder if it would fit.
