Got my headlight kit, weather stripping and run channels, sway bar bushings and rack busings from 50retso....all the stuff is great! Came in monday.

I got the decklid for my 81 notch too. 145.99 + 135.00 shipping!!! I can't say I am happy with it. It arrived well packaged and undamaged, but the quality isn't that good. I am not dissing 50 resto because it really isn't their product, they just sell it. It is just a Taiwanese made aftermarket peice of sheet metal. It is a little wavy and each end of it has little dimples all over. Luckly the car is yellow so it won't be noticeable, but I've got my work cut out for me blocking and priming it straight again.

Just giving you guys a heads up that this isn't a paint and bolt on peice. It needs some body work time, especially if your car is black. If you need one, find a used one. All in all I now have a rust free decklid so I am pleased with 50 resto getting it here 8 days earlier than expected!!!!:flag:

WOOT ! love new toys :nice: Just yesterday on my cruise I drove right past 50 Resto, glad to have them so close. I know what you meen about the taiwan repo metal parts. I figured I would buy a new fender from them when I get mine repainted instead of fixing the one I have since the fender is only $90. After going there to see it in person it will take as much work to correct the new one as it would to fix the one on the car, so its cheeper to just fix the one I got.
Good luck on the project, looks to be moving along swimmingley :)

Your lucky to be so close!! I have used aftermarket fox body hoods and they are real nice. No "fixing the new part", no blocking, hammering nothing. Prime and painted, aligned easily.

Fox fenders are a different story. I built an old 91 GT in 2005 and for the life of me, I couldn't get it. My Dad, a long time experienced body man...worked on it for 10 minutes and got it perfect. I had no problem building fronts for foxes with the OEM fenders...I guess he just had the touch on that one! Luckily, Hack Job, is keeping OEM fenders!!
