So I am almost done with my c4-T5 swap and I must say...you haven't lived until you have tried to swap out the pedals with the steering column still in the car!! First I unbolted and lowered it like the instructions said to do, but still no go, so I eventually had to remove the column altogether so I would have enough room to rotate the pedals up and around the brake master cylinder...whew! Anyways, I finally got the pedals bolted back in, but I forgot how the brake light switch mounts onto the pedal stud-
It's an 86 lx(in my sig.)
-does it go like this?
1. bare pedal stud (nothing attached to it yet)
2. pedal stud bushing(...or called a spacer ring maybe...?)
3. brake master cylinder actuator arm
4. light switch
5. little white o-ring slides onto the shaft
6. cotter pin
Does this installation sequence seem right?
Also, the light switch slips onto the pedal stud ad moves along with the pedal. How does this make the brake lights come on?
