yea so i got a call back from that architect today, and i got the job doing CAD work for him....too bad its only $5 an hr althought its cash, so ima be workin at the OTHER job i was just approved on also, Autozone, during the nites.......$8 hr......overall not too shabby........hope my 1st day on thursday goes aite...

SWEET!! But only $5 an hour? I can find more change on the ground in an hour. Still awesome though.

haha yea thats wut i was thinkin...but i wanna go into design in college, and this looks GREAT for colleges.....plus ill be workin 4 hrs a nite at autozone makin $8 an hr and gettin a 20% discount

you have to bite the bullit some time. I just took a job at a casino here. Its a crappy entry level job anyone can do with a GED (not knocking a GED) and I just grad. college. However, they realy only hire up from within the company so I have to start here. graveyard weekend swing hrs. oh boy but it is $10 hr. Hope I get promoted soon.

Congrats though it will look good that you have exp.

Yah man your kinda lucky. I didnt get paid squat for my internship. Guy I know has in internship with MET-Life he is making 42k as a friggan intern. He is trying to be only one to pass 3 FSA (fellowship, Society, of actuary's(sp?), he will get a 8k signing bonus and start at 65-70k a year out of college--bitch makes me sick, so I have to take his money at the poker table

ya i know it would be illegal if it went thru taxes and ****, but its all under the table......so i get $200 handed to me at the end of each week.......plus i'll be workin at autozone makin about $225 a week at autozone workin nites and part of saturday....so in a few months ill be caught up with my frame repairs, insurance, and have enough to buy the materials to spray my car with some fresh paint after that i ref little kids soccer for $20 a game over the whole fall season which brings in some nice dough also
